EnoSense® PIR DOT- Cost-effective motion detection and brightness measurement in rooms and areas - only 41 x 27 mm small
The new EnoSense® PIR DOT is our most cost-effective sensor for detecting movement and measuring brightness. It has both a motion sensor (PIR) and a brightness sensor. The wireless sensor has been optimized by us with regard to costs and the required functionality and thus forms the efficient basis for your building automation and determination of space utilization. As there is usually little daylight in a meeting room and only artificial light when the room is in use, we opted for pure battery operation in this case. When a person is detected, the EnoSense® PIR DOT sends a “motion detected” signal immediately and then every 4 minutes. Like all new EnoSense® sensors, it comes in a very small and stylish design housing and, at 41 x 27 mm, fits unobtrusively on the ceiling.

Cost-efficient and universally applicable
The EnoSense® PIR DOT wireless motion detector and light sensor, which is preferably mounted on the ceiling, reliably reports data via radio (EnOcean) both when motion is detected and when the brightness changes. People are detected in a radius of typically 3 m with a ceiling height of 2.5 m.
The sensor evaluation
When motion is detected via the PIR sensor, the EnoSense® PIR DOT sends a “Motion detected” message immediately and then every 4 minutes. At rest, it sends a one-off message “No movement detected”. This is followed every 15 minutes by a “No movement detected” message. Here in the picture, the 4 minutes are reduced to 30 seconds.
The EnoSense® PIR DOT has an internal CR3032 battery for trouble-free operation day and night, in any room at any time. So that the sensor functions independently of the ambient light in every application.
