Our Remote Support Desk solution provides a seamless and secure VPN connection, giving you easy remote access to any VL-700-based system. An intuitive user interface gives you secure access to your systems from anywhere.

Secure connection via VPN

Direct access to all devices

Regardless of whether you have already purchased the devices with the ``Remote Service Desk`` option or need them later, you will find all licensed devices in a tabular overview after logging in to the Remote Service Desk website.

In the “Devices” tab, you can see your licensed devices with basic information and the current connection status. You also have the option of displaying the location of your devices in the map view, as shown here.

Everything at your fingertips - with security

You have various options for connecting to a VL-700 BASE. This gives you full control over your projects from anywhere at any time. This ranges from updating the firmware of the VL-700 BASE to updating to a new version of the application and changing the connection settings.

You have the option of connecting to the selected device in different ways:

  • HTTPS_machine_config
  • Node-Red
  • SSH access
  • System settings
  • VNC
  • VNC browser
  • Web access HTTP
  • HTTPS web access

This gives you full access to your devices from anywhere at any time.

No incoming connection

No external connection to your network is required for communication with the Remote Service Desk.

Only the connection via port 1194 UPD to the outside is required to be able to use the full range of functions.

The system at a glance

Via VPN to the sensor data

The figure on the right shows an overview of the vertical system structure of our system. After licensing the devices and logging in via the website, you can connect to any VL-700 BASE via the Remote Support Desk. This only requires an outgoing connection via port 1194 UPD. You have subordinate access to every EnoDisc® that has been created as an endpoint in the Remote Support Desk. You can then view the EnOcean® sensor data received in real time via the EnoDisc® web server, which you can access via your web browser.

Two-factor authentication - 2FA

You can of course use the two-factor authentication procedure to log in to the Remote Support Desk.

Support is provided:

  • FreeOTP
  • Microsoft Authenticator

You can set it up conveniently at any time via your user profile.
