2. Handling of data when using website functionalities

We can now or in the future offer you further functionalities on this website for which personal data or other information must be collected, e.g. if you send us questions or feedback via a contact form or if you register for a newsletter. In these cases, mandatory information is marked as such.

Without your further consent, we will only collect, process and use such data and information to the extent necessary for the respective functionality (e.g. to answer your question, process your feedback or to send you the newsletter). The data entered by you and the data collected or processed in this context will only be transmitted to third parties if this is necessary and legally permissible for the implementation and processing of your request. For example, the service providers we use receive the necessary data to send the newsletter. The transmitted data may only be used by our service providers on the basis of corresponding contracts to fulfill their task.

The data collected or processed in connection with your request will be deleted or blocked in compliance with legal requirements. Your personal data will be deleted in particular if the data is no longer required to fulfill the purpose for which it was stored or to fulfill legal retention requirements, or if its storage is not permitted for other legal reasons.

3. Further handling of data

We collect, process and use your personal data on the basis of your consent, except in the legally permissible cases. We can offer you the option of granting such consent, e.g. through a clickable / tickable field (“checkbox”) on this or another website or other means (e.g. one of our advertising media).

The type, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data – including possible recipients of personal data to be transmitted – result from the text of the consent. You can revoke your consent at any time without giving reasons.

All personal data will only be stored as long as is necessary for the stated purpose (processing your request or processing a contract). Based on the average project duration, we assume a storage period of 2 years. Taking into account retention periods under tax and commercial law, the storage period can increase to up to 10 years.

When you register to receive our newsletter, the data you provide will only be used for this purpose. Subscribers can also be informed by email about circumstances that are relevant for the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).
For an effective registration, we need at least one valid email address. In order to check that the registration is actually made by the owner of an email address, we use the “double opt-in” procedure. For this purpose, we log the order for the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation email and the receipt of the response requested. The data will only be used to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. There is a corresponding link in every newsletter. If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.
If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google ad program, you will not have to reckon with such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.
