AL-610-00-868 E-Paper display / EnoSign ECO
E-Paper display + sensors, character color: black, EnOcean, 92 x 68 x 9 mm
The energy self-sufficient display of the type AL-610-00-868 E-Paper Display / EnoSign ECO offers the possibility of displaying measured values or permanently stored icons / graphics. Customer-specific graphics can be stored on request.
The characters or images are shown in black, the background is white. The display technology used is an e-paper with a resolution of 296 x 128 pixels.
The data is transmitted via the integrated EnOcean transceiver at 868.3 MHz. The display is updated in an interval of typically 15 minutes.
In addition, the EnoSign ECO has the following sensors:
- Vibration: 0/1, sensitivity 0.061 g
- Brightness: 0 – 65,535 lux
- Temperature 10 – 35 ° C
- Humidity 0 – 100 %
When a shock or vibration is detected by the integrated sensor, this event is immediately transmitted via EnOcean and can therefore be used to record the occupancy of a workstation.
After a successful transfer of “1!, the EnoSign ECO does not detect transmit “Motion detected” before no vibration is detected for at least one transmission cycle (approx. 70 s).
Control of the EnoSign ECO by means of a higher-level automation system (e.g. via EnoDisc® and VL-700 BASE with DBA)
Communication with the EnoSign ECO takes place exclusively via a control with an EnOcean interface that supports a mailbox with Smart Ack.
The Communication with the device takes place with an optimized EnOcean MSC telegram.
The data to be displayed is prepared accordingly by the DBA and sent to the EnoSign ECO via mailbox. The EnoSign ECO transfers the sensor data to the DBA in the sending direction.
The following figure shows the relationships:
Display contents of the EnoSign ECO / possible data
The display with a resolution of 296 x 128 pixels is available in different versions depending on the application. The current representation is as follows:
The following data can be transmitted to the EnoSign ECO using a mailbox (SmartAck):
- Top right: Room / workplace number (0000 – 9999
- Top line:
– Booked or free
– Start time 00:00 to 23:55 (increment 5 minutes)
– End time 00:00 to 23:55 (increment 5 minutes) - Bottom line:
– Booked or free
– Start time 00:00 to 23:55 (increment 5 minutes)
– End time 00:00 to 23:55 (increment 5 minutes)
If both lines are transmitted as “free”, the EnoSign ECO displays a BMP / JPG to be defined by the customer.
For example, this can hold a QR code that the user can use to register with his smartphone.
The transmission takes place via EnOcean using an MSC telegram according to the following table:
EEP | Byte 3 | Byte 2 | Byte 1 | Byte 0 |
---|---|---|---|---|
47-D1-08-01 | Line top: free (0) / occupied (1) | Line bottom: free (0) / occupied (1) | Room / desk number MSB | Room / desk number LSB |
47-D1-08-02 | Line top: start time MSB [5 minutes] | Line top: start time LSB [5 minutes] | Line top: end time MSB [5 minutes] | Line top: end time LSB [5 minutes] |
47-D1-08-03 | Line bottom: start time MSB [5 minutes] | Line bottom: start time LSB [5 minutes] | Line bottom: end time MSB [5 minutes] | Line bottom: end time LSB [5 minutes] |
The following measured values are transmitted by the EnoSign ECO:
- Brightness 0 .. 65,535 [lux]
- Temperature 10 .. 5 ° C [0.1 ° C]
- Rel. humidity [0.1%]
- Vibration detected TRUE / FALSE
- Supply voltage [20 mV]
The transmission takes place every approx. 70 ms with sufficient supply voltage (U> 2.1 V).
The data transmission of the measured values via EnOcean via MSC telegram corresponds to the following table:
EEP | Byte 3 | Byte 2 | Byte 1 | Byte 0 |
---|---|---|---|---|
47-D1-08-01 | Supply voltage [20 mV] | Vibration detected, 0/1 | Brightness 0 .. 65.535 [lux], MSB | Brightness 0 .. 65.535 [lux], LSB |
47-D1-08-02 | Rel. humidity 0 .. 100 % [0,1 %], MSB | Rel. humidity 0 .. 100 % [0,1 %], LSB | Temperature +10 .. +35 °C [0,1 °C], MSB | Temperature +10 .. +35 °C [0,1 °C], LSB |
Easiest assembly and commissioning
The EnoSign ECO is supplied via the integrated solar cell. You need neither a data line nor a battery, which reduces the work involved in installation, commissioning and maintenance.
The EnoSign ECO is installed e.g. with a simple double-sided tape, or you can use the two plastic stands (included).
