AL-602-01-868 / EnoPuck CO2
CO2 – traffic light with multi-sensor, RGB-Led, EnOcean, +12 V DC
The CO2 traffic light of the type AL-602-01-868 LED sign RGB FLEX CO2 / “EnoPuck CO2” offers the possibility of being used both as a stand-alone solution and in conjunction with building automations systems.
In contrast to many other solutions, the bright RGB LEDs make the light signal clearly visible at all times, even from a greater distance.
The individual solution measures and displays the CO2 value in the form of a traffic light (green / yellow / red), whereby the limit values can be configured using the BL-PC-FLEX-2 software (factory setting = 600/1200).
The technical data of the sensors are as follows:
• CO2: 0 – 10,000 ppm
In addition to the application as a pure CO2 traffic light, further sensors are integrated:
• Temperature: 0 – 50 ° C
• Humidity: 0 – 100%
• PIR sensor: 100 degree opening angle, range 3 to 5 meters
• Vibration: sensitivity 0.061 g
• Brightness: 0 – 64,000 lux
All measured values are transmitted via EnOcean wireless technology. The EnoPuck CO2 is configured wirelessly using the BL-PC-FLEX-2 software. The only connection of the EnoPuck CO2 is the power supply with +12 V DC.
The EnoPuck CO2 serves as a so-called CO2 traffic light for CO2 measurement, evaluation and display through lights in the colors green / yellow / red. It can either be used as a tabletop device or attached to the wall using a screw and the mounting hole on the back.
The basic function – CO2 traffic light as a desktop or wall-mounted device
The integrated CO2 sensor in the EnoPuck CO2 continuously measures the CO2 content of the ambient air.
- If the measured value is below the limit values, the EnoPuck CO2 lights up green continuously.
- If the value of level 1 is exceeded, the color changes to yellow.
- If the value of level 2 is exceeded, the EnoPuck CO2 lights up in a strong red.
Levels 1 and 2 are preset at the factory, but can be set with our BL-PC-FLEX-2 software depending on the application.
Added value through integrated sensors – use in smart spaces
The EnoPuck CO2 has a large number of sensors, which make it particularly interesting for use in smart spaces beyond its function as a CO2 traffic light. Here are all the sensors in brief:
• CO2: 0 – 10,000 ppm
• Temperature: 0 – 50 ° C
• Humidity: 0 – 100%
In addition to the CO2 concentration, evaluate the air quality by additionally reading the measured values of the humidity and air temperature from the EnoPuck CO2.
• PIR sensor: 100 degree opening angle, range 3 to 5 meters
• Vibration: sensitivity 0.061 g
Use the evaluation of the integrated acceleration sensor for your room booking system. When it is set up on a table, the highly sensitive acceleration sensor detects shocks and vibrations at the place of installation. In this way you can see whether the working place is actually occupied or whether it is available despite being booked.
If the EnoPuck CO2 is wall-mounted, you can evaluate the signal from the motion detector (PIR) integrated in the top of the housing. With an opening angle of 100 degrees and a range of up to 5 meters, it reliably detects movements of people in the room.
• Brightness: 0 – 64,000 lux
Adjust the luminaires brightness at the workplace dynamically by using the measured value of the integrated brightness sensor. Our EnOcean-DALI-controllers, for example, are available for this purpose.
The measured values / data are transmitted in the following standardized format:
Cons. nr. | EEP | Description | TX-ID |
---|---|---|---|
1 | A5-09-04 | CO2, rel. humidity, temperature | BASE-ID + 100 (dec.) |
2 | A5-07-01 | Motion detector with voltage monitoring (PIR, vibration) | BASE-ID +101 (dez.) |
3 | A5-08-01 | Brightness | BASE-ID +102 (dez.) |
The following sensors / switches can be teached in to the EnoPuck CO2 with the PC software BL-PC-FLEX-2:
Cons. nr. | EEP | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | F6-02-01 | Light and Blind Control – Application Style 1 |
2 | F6-02-02 | Light and Blind Control – Application Style 2 |
3 | F6-02-03 | Light Control – Application Style 1 |
4 | A5-07-01 | Occupancy with Supply voltage monitor |
5 | A5-07-02 | Occupancy with Supply voltage monitor |
6 | A5-07-03 | Occupancy with Supply voltage monitor and 10-bit illumination measurement |
7 | A5-06-01 | Brightness sesnor range 300 lx to 60.000 lx |
8 | A5-09-04 | CO2-sensor (rel. humidity, CO2, temperature) |
Note: The EnoPuck CO2 transmits all sensor data via different EnOcean IDs. This eliminates the need to configure the EEP to be used.
Cloud connection and integration into building automation systems (e.g. via EnoDisc)
The EnoPuck CO2 can also be controlled from the cloud. In return, all measurement data of the EnoPuck CO2 are in the cloud, e.g. available for long-term recording.
Wireless configuration with EnOcean USB stick and PC software BL-PC-FLEX-2
Just like all of our FLEX controllers, you can easily configure the EnoPuck CO2 using the easy-to-use PC software BL-PC-FLEX-2. You can teach-in sensors with RPS telegrams (light switches, buttons and window contacts), e.g. to reset a time-controlled red LED only when the window has actually been opened.
Together with the 16 timers of the EnoPuck CO2, you can easily implement this type of time-controlled traffic light function.
Easiest assembly and commissioning
The EnoPuck CO2 is supplied with 12 V DC via the included plug-in power supply unit.
It can either be set up on a flat surface as a tabletop device or used hanging on the wall.
